Get up close and personal at Collins College with three iconic artists in the comic book world, Shannon Denton, Jay Fotos and Frank Beddor. The three artists are speaking at Collins on their achievements and on the comic-book industry the day before Phoenix Cactus Comicon 2007, the largest comic-book, anime, and pop-culture convention in Arizona. The presentations at Collins are provided at no charge to the public.

Shannon Denton is a veteran storyteller and artist contributing to the design and development of almost every action/adventure show produced by Fox Kids Network including the X-Men, Spider-Man and the Annie-nominated Silver Surfer series. He has had the opportunity to work for every major comic publisher on projects ranging from Superman to Spawn to Star Wars.
Jay Fotos has worked on the comic series Spawn and is currently working with Nat Jones and Joshua Ortega from Image Comics on Death Dealer and the much-anticipated '68 due out January 2007. Fotos has also created concept art for video games and the semi-animated film, produced by Jodie Foster, Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys (2002). Frank Beddor is a film producer, actor, stuntman, and author. He is currently the CEO of Automatic Pictures, a film, television, and interactive game production company. Beddor produced There's Something About Mary and Wicked, starring Julia Stiles. He is currently working on Seeing Redd, the second book in The Looking Glass Wars trilogy, a rework of the original Alice in Wonderland book by Lewis Carroll.
