Learn what it takes to succeed as a game designer. Samuel Deiter, Collins College graduate in Game Design, will talk about his experiences and insight working in the industry. He will explain how he got the opportunity to develop the video game N.E.R.D.S at Atari2600.com.

Atari 2600 N.E.R.D.S. (Nano Emersion Recovery Device) is a video game that simulates what it is like to pilot through the human body battling viruses. Once the first virus is killed the player starts a chain reaction that will kill the Master Virus. The game features exciting fast-paced action with plenty of challenges for the beginner to the expert player.

There will be an opportunity to participate in exhibition play on various Atari games and equipment provided by Atari 2600.com.

Saturday, August 18, 2007, for both Collins College locations. There is no charge for this event and it is open to the public.
