COLLINS COLLEGE FILM STUDENTS WORKING ON NEW MOVIE
Collins College students have been doing all the work in pre-production and are the entire production crew.

What: Collins College students and instructor Ryan Noble are producing a student feature film “Spinning Out.” The shoot lasts a minimum of 12 hrs a day each day, which allows each student the opportunity to gain real, hands-on-experience.

Film synopsis: Dustin and Andy have been best friends since high school. They work together at the local steel yard, drink together at the local bar, and share a passion for dirt-track racing: midget cars, modified trucks, go-karts, anything with four wheels and a combustion engine. Just when they get the chance to start a race team, a freak accident nearly kills Andy. But Andy, having found a new lease on life, starts “spinning out.” Dealing with the accident changes the course of their lives, throwing the race team into jeopardy, their friends and family into fear and their lives into chaos.

Who: An all-volunteer, Collins College student crew, 22 crew members each day and 19 cast (not including extras).

When: Filming takes place March 20th – April 5th, anytime from 10am to 11pm. Best photo opportunity is around sunset, when the staged race scenes are shot.

Where: Canyon Speedway, 9777 W. Carefree Hwy Peoria, AZ 85345
