Press ReleasesCollins College Promotes Robert Starks to Director of Career ServicesTempe, AZ (February 7, 2008) - Collins College, a school of design and technology, announced that Robert Starks has been promoted to director of career services. Starks is responsible for overseeing the school's career services staff and programs. Career Services works closely with local and national companies to develop partnerships to enhance employment opportunities for graduates. The school participates in career fairs, arranges on-site company visits, and maintains a job bank of potential employers. The department also provides graduates with development training, including resume writing, job search tools, and interviewing skills. Career Services helps students find part-time employment opportunities while attending school and actively assists students with internship opportunities in the metro Phoenix area. Graduates of Collins College have access to career services throughout their professional careers. Other positions Starks has held at Collins College include career advisor for the school's visual arts, game design, and animation programs and associate director of training and development for career services. Starks attended Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University and graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and a Minor in Sociology.
